Time Trial Challenge

Both the 160 km and 100 km routes are eligible to participate in the TT Challenge*. The top 10 overall riders for each distance will receive the following monetary prize based on their completion time; a total of $1500 in prizes will be awarded.

Finishing Place Prize
1 $250
2 $150
3 $100
4 $75
5 $50
6 $40
7 $25
8 $20
9 $20
10 $20

For the challenge, both 100km and 160km riders will be timed for a distance of 4 km* which includes aggressive climbing.

The team competition is open to any team of at least 4 riders (all riders on the team must be registered for the same course distance). The team competition winner will be determined by the average time of the top 4 riders. This average will be assigned as the team's performance. The winning team will receive glory and the top 6 riders from the team will receive a medal.

Additionally the winners of the individual age and gender categories will be recognized. The age categories are as follows: 34 and under, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 and over.

The challenge is a significant distance into the ride, and to participate and be eligible, riders must complete the entire 160 km or 100 km route (please note the challenge is not on the 60 km course) prior to the TT Challenge (i.e., you can't put your bike in a car drive to the hills and ascend).

*All distances are approximations, final distances are determined with rider safety and current road use in mind.

**Please note that there is $20 fee for all chip-timed events.
